Description
English: Temple of Aeolus at Kew Designed 176-1763 by Sir William Chambers, in 1845 Decimus Burton placed it on a mound by the lake in front of the palm house - see http://www.kew.org/collections/aeolus.html. In spring the mound is covered in flowers, snow drops and later daffodils. Aeolus was the keeper of the winds in Greek mythology.
