Description
Deutsch: Denkmal für Ernst von Stubenrauch (1853-1909), Landrat des Brandenburger Kreises Teltow, auf dem Marktplatz in Teltow. Inschrift: Dem Schöpfer des Teltowkanals-Landrat von Stubenrauch-1908. Dem Denkmal, das der Bildhauer Prof. Ferdinand Lepcke 1908 geschaffen hatte, fehlen heute die beiden Seitenteile, Bronzereliefs mit Frauenskulpturen, die die verbundenen Schwesterflüsse Havel und Spree symbolisieren sollten. Die Stadt Teltow liegt im Brandenburger Landkreis Potsdam-Mittelmark und grenzt an den Süden Berlins.
English: Monument, built in 1908, for "Ernst von Stubenrauch" (1853-1909), "founder" of the Teltowcanal, in Teltow, market place. The town Teltow belongs to the district Potsdam-Mittelmark in the state Brandenburg, Germany, and borders to the south of Berlin.
