| Description |
English: Telephone Box, Charterhouse Square A classic, and relatively rare, K2 telephone box stands on the south side of Charterhouse Square next to a much more modern 'pay and display' parking ticket machine. The ubiquity of mobile 'phones has led to a reduction in the number of operational telephone boxes in London as elsewhere, but it is still likely that this splendid example will outlive the unlovely ticket machine. |
