Description

Tag Verification

Telemetry receivers such as these are used to verify that implanted tags still work. Serial numbers recorded by the receivers are compared to logs prepared the day before and to the tagging schedule used by the surgical technicians to double-check that the tagging schedule has been followed. Inactive tags must be removed and reactivated or replaced to maintain the integrity of the study.
