Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A Teleboard with rider, in profile. A Teleboard is essentially a wide ski with a pair of telemark bindings mounted on it. This picture clearly shows the orientation of the bindings in relation to the board. The Teleboard was created in 1996 by Martin Fey and Erik Fey, and patented shortly thereafter. It's design began as an evolution on alpine snowboards, intended to turn more nimbly and be more suited to moguls. By being narrower than any snowboard, and allowing considerable freedom of motion, the Teleboard is an extremely versatile tool for riding down a mountain. This photo was taken at Waterville Valley, in New Hampshire.
