The eight handed Devi is shown in the act of killing Mahisa, placing her right leg over him. A trident in the right hand, she also holds chakra, khadga and an arrow with shanka, bow and shield, holding the tuft of the hair of the asura. She wears Kirita, kundala, skandamala, bara, keyura, kankana, chinnavira and mekhala with tassels dangling on either side of the sari and nupura. On the right side there is a caparisoned simba and an asura holding a shield and khadga in his hands. He is wearing bara, keyura, mekabala and his legs are held by Mahisa.

The temple with vimana is crowned with a stupika. The mandapa roof is surmounted by decorated mandis on all four sides. The walls on all four sides are decorated with pilaster motifs. The exterior walls of vimana are decorated with images of gods. Dancers, Bhairava and Lakshminarasimha, are depicted on the walls of the temple. On the sikhara are Chandi on the north, Lakshminarashima on the east, Virabhadra on the south and ganapathi on the west. Nandis are seen on all four sides of the sikhara. A four-handed Nataraja is a niche facing north.
