Teisco Del Rey ET-220 / Spectrum-2 - Gracias Brian and Happy Birthday to me (manana)! (2021-09-29 by H. Michael Karshis)

Original description
Ok… My buddy Mitch Webb gave me this sweet little 1960s Teisco Del Rey guitar body back in the early 90’s.
I gave it to Brian Parrish in 2001.
Brian gave it to Phillip Sada around 2010. Phillip gave it back to Brian sometime around 2015.
Brian then gave it to Gus Warner to replace some parts, clean it up and finally put some strings on it for the first time in who know how long in 2021.
Gus gave it back to Brian who gave it back to me this week as an early Birthday gift!
Can’t wait to make some noise with this thing.
Muchas Gracias Brian and Happy Brithday to me (mañana)!

From Reverb.com:
For players seeking genuine vintage mojo on a budget, it's hard to beat the funky guitars and basses put out by Japanese maker Teisco guitars in the '60s. Also known as Teisco Del Ray, these budget-level guitars were marketed under a number of brand names including Norma, Kimberley and later Silvertone. While Teisco guitars are known more for their wild visual flair than their playability, interest in these instruments is definitely on the rise. Within the wide realm of vintage Japanese guitars, and Teisco in particular, collectors tend to gravitate towards models with the most bizarre body shapes and finishes, and most elaborate electronic and pickup configurations.
