Summary
[edit]DescriptionTecnophilus croceicollis peigani Larson - ZooKeys-245-001-g041.jpeg |
English: Tecnophilus croceicollis peigani Larson. Adults of this handsome subspecies are usually found during the day on clay-sand soil on the ground or climbing on very low vegetation along the bases of south facing coulees. The subspecific name derives from the name of an Indian tribe of the Blackfoot Confederation, Peigan, which inhabited the prairies of southern Alberta where the taxon is found in Canada. |
