Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Tealing Souterrain. Souterrains were cellars, built partly or wholly underground, alongside or attached to timber buildings above ground. They are also know as 'earth houses' although they were used primarily for storage rather than dwellings. Similar structures have been found in Brittany, Cornwall and Ireland.
