Summary

[edit]
Description

"Te Kooti (Te Kooti Arikirangi Te Tūruki),  ? - 1893".

This image purports to be Te Kooti, but it almost certainly is not, see William Greenwood's article "ICONOGRAPHY OF TE KOOTI RIKIRANGI".

There are no known photos of Te Kooti. He did not have facial tattoos.

According to Gilbert Mair (trader)[1] it is that of Te Kanapu Haerehuka [2] - who also appears in another photo. [3] Snori (talk) 08:08, 20 April 2013 (UTC)]
