Description
Slovenčina: Tatranská osada Tatranská Lomnica, mesto Vysoké Tatry, okres Poprad.Rímskokatolícky kostol zasvätená Panne Márii Nanebovzatej, Tatranská Lomnica mesto Vysoké Tatry Iniciatívy ujala arcikňažna Izabela Habsburgová v roku 1889. Architekt Gedeon Majunke zo Spišskej Soboty. Kostol bol dokončený a odovzdaný do užívania pred letnou sezónou v roku 1900. V polovici osemdesiatych rokov bol v kostole inštalovaný v sanktuáriu nový kríž, ktorý je umeleckou kópiou Prešovského korpusu od majstra Pavla z Levoče. Zhotovila prof. Mária Spoločníková, reštaurátorka z Košíc. Vitráže podľa návrhov akademickej maliarky Viery Hložníkovej, ktoré stvárňujú Zvestovanie Pána a Sedembolestnú Pannu Máriu. Kostol je zasvätený Panne Márii Nanebovzatej a odpust sa slávi 15. augusta. V roku 2008 bol postavený nový oltár, tabernákulum a tiež aj kazateľnica. Návrhy a realizáciu previedol umelecký rezbár majster Barnáš z Kežmarku.
