Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Tate Modern. Inside the Turbine Hall of the old Bankside Power Station, now Tate Modern. This is the national display of the “king’s new clothes”. The fantastic is common, there is sheer brilliance in stunning images and sculpture all interspersed with the blind cheek of “artists” (con artists) who throw something together and see if some idiot will pay for it! I love the place, you have to exercise the grey cells in every room and refuse to be taken in when you feel “that isn’t art”, the whole place is the living embodiment of the "Conundrum of the Workshops" see http://www.cs.rice.edu/~ssiyer/minstrels/poems/305.html one has to ask the question is it art? at 200246 .
