Italiano: Il tasto o chiave (Key) è composto da una base rettangolare in legno su cui sono fissati 4 serrafilo in ottone (2 coppie) e il fulcro della leva del tasto Morse anch'essa in ottone. Sul lato sinistro è presente una leva d'ottone la cui posizione (abbassata o alzata) determina quale coppia di serrafilo è attiva.
Funzione
Tasto telegrafico costruito nei primi anni del '900 dalla Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company e in uso nelle stazioni radiotelegrafiche (navali o di terra) fino al 1920. Il tasto di Morse serviva da interruttore/modulatore di segnali radio e solitamente era posto tra il sistema di generatore del segnale ad alta frequenza (radiofrequenza prodotta da rocchetti, spinterogeni rotanti, alternatori o archi di Poulsen) e il sistema terra/antenna.
