Paul Grover, a UH-60 Black Hawk medevac helicopter crew chief with Task Force Dragon, 40th Combat Aviation Brigade, Combined Joint Forces Land Component Command – Operation Inherent Resolve, searches for obstacles, power lines, and additional hazards during a limited visibility landing during medevac training in northern Iraq, July 3, 2016. The pilots, U.S. Army 1st Lt. Charley Christianson and U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 4 Tim Archer, conducted the landing to simulate realistic medevac scenarios during combat operations and to maintain pilot and crew member proficiency on safety and precautionary measures.
