INTRODUCTORY 7 must be one hundred and thirteen years old; andMr. Lummis is too busy with his magazine to startagam. So I am writing these Hnes, not so muchfor what they tell as to call the attention ofreaders to what they do not tell. Think of thegreat voids of ignorance! Think how little youknow about North Dakota or Idaho! Of course modern science answers that weshould travel ourselves.
