| Description |
English: Tarmac's concrete plant, Ettingshall It's kind of self-explanatory really, as it's so clearly labelled! But the basic concept is that cement is stored in the green silo on the right of the plant, aggregates and sand are stored in the covered bins on the left, and when a truck is ready and waiting in the loading bay, the relevant quantities of each material are weighed and discharged into the truck, along with a quantity of water. A few hours later, hey presto, concrete happens. What could be easier? |
