Description Taoist prayer doodads and offerings inside Ipoh's Ling Sen Tong cave temple in Perak, Malaysia. The temple is a pretty long structure, double storeyed and which also has several subsidiary shrines housed in this building. If I recall right, this is part of the main shrine. This is a Taoist temple, as are all other temples in Ipoh. This is because of the numerous Chinese traders who had made Ipoh their home, and managers of the tin mining industry- once the mainstay of Ipoh. Many Chinese- those who do follow a religion- practised Taoism. (Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia, Sept. 2023)
