Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Gravestone of the family of Lock Ah Tam, who was executed for murdering his wide and two daughters on November 30, 1925. Also buried here is his one month old son who had died in 1910. Tam would probably today be convicted of manslaughter due to diminished responsibility but that defence was not available to him then, and his defence of insanity failed because he knew what he had done. In Plot CE15.
