Description
Français : Talus de la voie 2 de la LGV Est après le déraillement d'Eckwersheim. On distingue un parapet détruit (du coin nordouest du pont sud) et un élément de toiture arraché à la motrice 29787, dont le pantographe 25 kV encore debout.
English: Scene of the aftermath of the Eckwersheim derailment, showing the northern side of the embankment of the southern track. The bridge carrying the northern track is seen along the top of the image. In the upper left corner, the southern concrete parapet is seen intact while the northern concrete parapet has been destroyed. The concrete parapets rest atop the concrete abutment of the bridge. A bogie is also visible on the tracks. Just below the middle of the photo is the pantograph, still erect, and related subassembly from power car 29787.
