Object type coin

Description
Deutsch: Vorderseite: FREDERICVS GON - MAN MAR III.

Kommentar: Guss, zweiseitig, oben gelocht.

Berliner Numismatische Forschungen Neue Folge 5 (1997) 33 Nr. 70 Taf. 21 (diese Medaille, Talpa aktiv um 1495); M. M. Salton in: S. K. Scher (Hrsg.), The currency of fame. Portrait medals of the Renaissance (1994) 76 f. Nr. 15 mit Abb. (dieses Stück, datiert um 1495); G. F. Hill, A Corpus of Italian Medals of the Renaissance before Cellini (1930) 50 Nr. 204 a (dieses Stück); J. Friedländer, Die italienischen Schaumünzen des fünfzehnten Jahrhunderts (1430-1530). Ein Beitrag zur Kunstgeschichte (1882) 128 Nr. 1 Taf. 23,1 (dieses Stück). - Vgl. zur Lesung EPO als 'Ex Populo' J. G. Pollard, National Gallery of Art, Washington. Renaissance Medals I. Italy (2007) 128 Anm. 3 bei Nr. 198 (Talpa aktiv um 1495).
