English: Tally-ho house, Rhosgoch. In the early part of the 20th century, this house was a cafe which was kept by Edmund Post, a huge Irishman, who was also involved in the pig trade. To try and gain the lead on William Innes, the publican and pig dealer of The Ring Inn across the road, the willy Post employed a Methodist to do the pig weighing so as attract the business of the teetotal Calvinists of the district. Post was also the village post master.
