[edit]
Description
English: Tall ships, Charlestown, St Austell
This little town has developed around a harbour built 1793 to 1801 by John Smeaton for Sir Charles Rashleigh. The harbour has a lock gate and is now used for servicing 'tall' sailing ships, and also as a film set. There are sailmaker's workshops etc.
