Summary
[edit]DescriptionTalke Church and one of the many pubs - geograph.org.uk - 192510.jpg |
English: Talke Church and one of the many pubs. There has been a church on the site since before the 13th century. The earliest part of the current St Martins Parish Church was built in 1749. The Swan Inn next door has been around since the early 1800s. There's another pub, the Old Queen's Head, immediately behind the Swan and several more in the immediate area. St Martins is the last remaining church however. |
