English: The picture shows the situation on the coast at Takoradi in the time of the planning for the harbour construction (10 August 1920). The Port of Takoradi was built in the 1920th by the British as the first deep-water harbour on the Gold Coast and was opened on the 3rd April 1928 solemnly. Today the city of Sekondi-Takoradi extends here.
Deutsch: Das Bild zeigt die Situation an der Küste vor Takoradi in der Zeit der Planung für den Hafenbau (10. August 1920). Der Hafen von Takoradi wurde in den 1920ern von den Briten als erster Tiefwasserhafen an der Goldküste gebaut und am 3. April 1928 feierlich eröffnet. Heute erstreckt sich hier die Stadt Sekondi-Takoradi.
