Description
Deutsch: Tafel zur Erinnerung an den Conventgarten, ein Konzerthaus, dass im Krieg zerstört wurde. Die Tafel befindet sich am Verlagshaus Axel Springer in der Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße, Hamburg-Neustadt. Die Inschrift zur besseren Lesbarkeit: Hier stand neun Jahrzehntelang von 1853 bis 1943 Hamburgs Conventgarten, in dessen großem Konzert - und Vortragssaal die berühmtesten Dirigenten, Orchester und Solisten sowie Meister des Wortes gewirkt haben. Am 24. Juli 1943 fiel das Gebäude den Bomben zum Opfer.
