Italiano: Il cannocchiale di questo teodolite/tacheometro è sorretto da due staffe verticali che sono fissate su una base circolare sorretta da tre piedini a viti calanti. Questi, con l'ausilio di un livella lineare solidale al basamento, permettono la corretta messa in postazione dello strumento. Il cerchio graduato verticale è inserito all'interno di una struttura di protezione, non è quindi visibile se non attraverso due piccole finestre diametralmente opposte tra loro e protette da un vetrino. Due lenti montate in prossimità consentono di effettuare una lettura accurata. Anche il cerchio graduato orizzontale è protetto, in questo caso all'interno del basamento, ed è visibile solo grazie a due finestrelle ricavate nella struttura e ricoperte da un vetrino. Una sola delle due lenti predisposte per la lettura è oggi presente. Nel centro della base è posizionata una bussola per il corretto allineamento dello strumento. Tutti i movimenti possibili sono comandati da viti micrometriche.
Funzione
Strumento utilizzato in topografia e geodesia per il rilevamento di angoli e distanze.
