Description
Español: Traducción desde las Tablas Alfonsíes, manuscrito 7856, obra de Juan de Sajonia (astrónomo). Agregüé unas columnas en el actual sistema decimal correspondiente al sistema sexagesimal ptolemaico. Corrección: las celdas en fondo rosa, son datos corregidos tomados del Incunable 1612, publicado por Erhard Ratdolt en 1483. La única celda con fondo verde claro es una corrección al incunable 1612.

El período dracónico o nodal está determinado por el lapso de tiempo que tarda el nodo lunar en dar una vuelta completa (360°) sobre la eclíptica, en dirección oeste, partiendo del equinoccio de Marzo hasta el mismo equinoccio. En el S. XIII los astrónomos llegaron a los 6.798,319538149520 días para tal período, es decir 360° / 0,052954262885088 [°/día] = 6.798,319538149520 o bien 6.798,319538149520 días / 365,25 días = 18,612784498698 años o 18 años 223 días 19 horas 40 minutos 8,0961120048 segundos. En la actualidad este período es de 18,6377 años o 18 años 232 días 22 horas 4 minutos 41,52 segundos. Una diferencia entre ambas cantidades, de aquella época con la actual, de 9 días 2 horas 24 minutos 33,4238811840441 segundos.

La era alfonsí se inicia el lunes 01.01.1252 a las 12:00 h (mediodía), DJ 2178351 (Día Juliano). Según la Editio Princeps la era alfonsí comienza el sábado 01.06.1252 a las 12:00 h (mediodía), coronación del Rey Alfonso X, luego de 152 días del comienzo según las tablas alfonsíes castellanas.
