Description:

Boîte ovale en or de deux couleurs (rose et vert) ciselé, guilloché (stries concentriques sur le couvercle et le dessous, stries parallèles sur la bâte) et émaillé, paillons d'or rose et vert. Couvercle monté à charnière. Sur le couvercle, miniature à l'aquarelle et à la gouache sur vélin, cerclée d'argent doré.

Description iconographique:

Le couvercle de cette boîte est orné d'une miniature représentant une "Kermesse dans un parc", s'inspirant des compositions des Van Blarenberghe père (Louis-Nicolas) et fils (Henri-Joseph). Commentaire historique:

Plusieurs hypothèses sont avancées concernant le lieu d’exécution de l’œuvre : Suisse (Genève) ou Allemagne.
