Description
English: The requisition of the bells of Saint Catherine Church in Tabán, Budapest during the First World War. Four larger 18th-century bells were removed from the tower, and taken away to be melted for military uses. A reading and meeting club for wounded and convalescing soldiers is visible at 41 Attila körút (on the left).
Magyar: A tabáni Szent Katalin-templom harangjainak rekvirálása az első világháború idején. A templomból négy nagyobb barokk harangot vittek el, és olvasztottak be hadi célokra. Az Attila körút 41. számú épületen (balra) tábla hirdeti a sebesült és lábadozó katonák olvasó és társalgó termét.
