Description

Trout River, Newfoundland. Dinner at Riverside Take-Out; pretty much the only game in town in terms of eating out. Not half bad, though.

Also, because there's really no better place to stick this little factoid: remember that news story that went viral on the Internet a while back about the huge blue whale carcass that washed up in Canada, and they said it might explode? That happened in Trout River. It was five years after this photo was taken, but whatever.


Trout River, Terre-Neuve. Dîner à «Riverside Take-Out» (Traiteur la Rive de la rivière); à peu près la seule offre au village quant à la restauration. Pas mal, cependant.

En outre, parce qu'il n'y a vraiment aucun meilleur endroit pour mettre cette petite donnée: rappelez-vous cette histoire dans les nouvelles qui est allée virale sur Internet il y a quelque temps, sur l'immense carcasse d'une baleine bleue que s'est échouée au Canada, et on a dit qu'il pourrait exploser? Cela est arrivé à Trout River. Il était cinq années après ce que cette photo a été prise, mais quand même.

También, porque verdaderamente no hay mejor lugar para pegar este pequeño dato: ¿recuerdan ustedes esa historia en las noticias que se difundió viralmente en Internet hace un poco de tiempo, sobre la enorme carcasa de una ballena azul que se varó en Canadá, y se dijeron que podía explotar?
