Western Brook Pond, Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland. To get to the tour boat dock, you park your car at a little lot alongside Highway 430 about 16 miles (26km) north of Rocky Harbour, then you walk for about 45 minutes along a gravel trail through a marshy bogland to the shore of the pond. (Because of the scheduling snafus of the Newfoundland portion of my trip, I almost missed my boat and couldn't stop for photos along the trail, though I took plenty on my way back after the cruise.) At dockside, there's a sheltered waiting area, cafeteria, and gift shop - you can see those in this photo at centre, just to the right of the pier. Étang Western Brook, Parc national du Gros-Morne, Terre-Neuve. Pour se rendre au quai des crosières, on gare sa voiture dans un petit parc de stationnement à côté de la route 430, environ 26 kilomètres au nord de Rocky Harbour, puis on marche pendant environ 45 minutes le long d'un sentier de gravier à travers des tourbières marécageuses jusqu'à la rive de l'étang. (En raison des pagailles de planification de la partie terre-neuvienne de mon voyage, j'ai presque raté mon bateau et je ne pouvais pas arrêter pour prendre des photos le long du sentier, bien que j'en ai pris beaucoup lors de mon retour après la croisière.) À côté du quai, il y a une zone d'attente à l'intérieur, une cafétéria et une boutique de cadeaux - on peut voir celles-là au centre de cette photo, juste à droite du ponton.
