English: The Target Reconnaissance Infrared Geolocating Rangefinder (TRIGR) is a Laser Target Locator (LTL). LTLs deliver target data to the fire support, and maneuver command, control, communications and intelligence system (C4I).
The TRIGR incorporates a 7 direct view optic, an improved uncooled thermal sight for increased sight range, a fiber laser rangefinder, digital compass and GPS. They allow the system to determine target location. |
