Summary
[edit]DescriptionTR707 ROM cymbals compared to enveloped output.wav |
English: This recording demonstrates the significant change in character after going through an analog envelope. This is significant as the TR707 is often thought of as a fully digital drum machine.
The difference these envelopes make to the usability of these sounds is great and therefore I feel it important that people have access to this information. |

Source | Two of these sounds were provided to me by Harry Axten, a design engineer. The other two were recorded by me personally using my Roland TR-707 as sound source. |
Author | These sound samples were created by Roland but are not subject to copyright as they are included as a sound set in an instrument I purchased myself. |
