Description
English: Class D audio power amplifier module based on the TPA3116D2 IC. This variant is a cheap Chinese product aimed at DIYers. This is a mono subwoofer amp with a front-end low-pass filter. Max power input is 25.5V DC, thus at a reasonably high supply of 24V DC the amp can provide around 46V peak-to-peak or 16V RMS output, corresponding to 32W into 8 Ohms or 64W into 4 Ohms. At either extreme, the amp runs reasonably cool and needs no forced ventilation. Needless to say, the vendors claim inflated power figures (although not outrageously inflated). Build quality is shoddy, audio quality mediocre.
