English: We went to a rural area of Andhra Pradesh (one of the states of India) for our Inde Film shoot there we have met this farmer (the person in the photo) he was growing green chillies in his fields. I asked him 'Every year in our country so many Farmers are committing suicide aren't you afraid that Agriculture in India is dying? He smiled and said 'Look son I believe in this Mother land, my whole Family is dependant on Agriculture, since my childhood I have seen ups and downs in farming but I never lose hope in this land. I agree that there are bad days in farming we have to face 'deluges and droughts'. But ultimately this is what Farmers are meant to do 'Keep Growing' so that we can feed the whole country and upcoming generations.
I was overwhelming with his confident words. Almost 60 to 70% of Indian population depends upon agriculture sector (directly/indirectly) we could see many farmers who faces problems on daily basis still won't lose hope on what they are doing. That's why the farmers in India are called as 'ANNADATA' (The Food provider)
