(Thalipeeth is a special Marathi bread known for its use of multiple flours says Isha) YIELD: 8 thalipeeths Besan 113.4 grams Jowar flour 113.4 grams Rice flour 113.4 grams Bajra flour 56.7 grams Whole wheat flour (Atta) 56.7 grams Chilly Powder 7.09 grams Coriander Powder 7.09 grams Cumin Powder 7.09 grams Garam Masala Powder 7.09 grams Turmeric 4.72 grams Jaggery 14.28 grams Onion 56.75 grams Coriander leaves 28.37 grams Garlic 14.28 grams Water As req. Oil As req. METHOD • Mix all above ingredients and knead into a soft dough. • Rest the dough for 10mins. • Divide dough into 8 parts. • Roll out each thalipeeth on a wet muslin cloth or a greased plastic sheet. Can make a hole in the centre for even cooking. • Cook the thalipeeth on a hot greased tawa. • Carefully remove the cloth/plastic cover from the other side and flip it over. • Let it cook well on both sides. • Serve hot with dry garlic chutney/yogurt/raita/fresh coconut/chilly powder.
