DescriptionTGV Atlantique in Tours.jpg | I flew to Paris, and took this TGV train to Tours. The train was on the TGV Atlantique line, which runs from Paris (Montparnasse) to Tours or Le Mans. TGV is "train à grande vitesse" (high speed train). This train set has a top speed of 300 kph (186 mph). The trip of 235 km (147 miles) took 70 minutes, with two stops. One of the stops was St.-Pierre-des-Corps, the main TGV station outside Tours. The photo is in the Tours station. | ||
