Deutsch: Physische Reaktion der Haut auf eine Hitzewallung durch Änderung des transepidermalen Wasserverlustes (TEWL): Verlauf des TEWL über 12 Minuten. Ab Minute 2 beginnt die erste Hitzewallung die bis Minute 6 abklingt. In Minute 9 beginnt die zweite Hitzewallung. Die Messungen wurden am inneren Unterarm einer 52 Jahre alten männlichen Person in warmer Umgebung bei 27°C und 35% relativer Luftfeuchte durchgeführt. Als Messinstrument wurde ein Tewameter® TM Hex eingesetzt. Die 24 Einzelmessungen dauerte jeweils zwischen 20 und 30 Sekunden lang.
English: Physical reaction of skin to a hot flash by change of the Transepidermal water loss
(TEWL): Developing of TEWL over 12 minutes. At minute 2 the first hot flash starts. It decays until minute 6. In minute 9 the second hot flash starts. The measurement has been performed on the inner forearm of a 52 year old male subject in warm environment at 27°C and 35% relative humidity. The measuring instrument was a Tewameter® TM Hex. Each of the 24 measurements took between 20 and 30 seconds.
