Description
Français : Cliché plutôt insolite, que ce passage de TER Auvergne sur la ligne de Saint-Germain des Fossés à Gannat (03). Ouverte en 1855 puis doublée en 1931 par la desserte de Vichy, ce dernier tronçon fût électrifié bien plus tard, captant dès lors la quasi-totalité du trafic. L'itinéraire historique est surtout utilisé en cas de neutralisation de l'axe principal (travaux, incident en ligne...), en dépit de caractéristiques intéressantes, qui permettraient un débit bien plus important: double voie, cantonnement par block automatique (BAL/BAPR selon sections), tracé plus rectiligne autorisant aussi les 160 km/h...
