Description

Soviet WW2 era Light Infantry Tank Manufacturer:- Factory No174, Leningrad / Stalingrad Tractor Factory Built:- 1931 to 1941 Total Production:- 10,300 Main Armament:- 45mm 20K Model 1932-34 tank gun The T-26 was developed from the British Vickers 6-Ton tank and was the most successful tank of the period with over 10,000 produced. They saw action during the Spanish Civil War, the 1939-40 Winter War, the Battles of Moscow and Stalingrad and were still in use fighting the Japanese Kwantung Army in Manchuira in August 1945 Some 45 still exist, this single-turreted example is on display at the Central Armed Forces Museum, Moscow, Russia.
