Summary

[edit]
This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: Attempt at cleaning the obvious smugged portions around the head and the hat, and supplementation with portions of a similar hat worn by Juvayni (sitting cross-legged in the same painting). Face from near-contemporary Il-Khanid painting of ruler.. The original can be viewed here: Arghun in Tārīkh-i Jahān-Gushā - The History of The World Conqueror A.H. 689 A.D. 1290 - Suppl. Pers. 205 - Bibliothèque Nationale de France.jpg.
