English: Tóin an Chnoic (Tonacrick) This martello tower is one of many watch towers built along the west coast, some old some more recent. This one appears to be more recent and was probably built to guard the entrance to Cuan Chasla (Cashla Bay), which has one of the safest anchorages on this part of the coast. |
