DIG92849 Lok nr 1 "HULTENHEIM" byggt 1869 vid Hatcham Ironworks, London, enligt Fairlies patent. Loket, fortfarande med originalpanna, exploderade den 8 april 1902 kl 11.25 inne i verkstaden i Eksjö. En ångpanneexplosion är mycket ovanlig, men i detta fall var loket nyreviderat och skulle bl.a. säkerhetsventilerna prövas. En felaktig blypackning hade emellertid täppt till manometerledningen så att för lågt tryck visades. Då pannan exploderade slungades lokets överrede ut genom taket och hamnade på bangården. The locomotive No. 1 "HULT HEIM" built in 1869 at Hatcham Iron Works, London, after Fairlies patents. The locomotive, still with original boiler exploded in April 8th in 1902 at 11.25 am in the workshop in Eksjö. A steamengine explosion is very rare, but in this case the locomotive revised and the safety valves where about to be tested. A faulty lead washer however, had clogged the manometer pipe so that low pressure was shown. When the boiler exploded the locomotive catapulted through the ceiling and ended up in the yard.
