Description
English:
Former Buda Town Hall building. It is a three-façade, one-story Baroque building. Architects: Venerio Ceresola, Matthias (Matthäus?) Nepauer, 1692-1774. Medieval details. Extended U-shaped building. Three Baroque facades. Here was the Town Hall of Buda circa 160 years long, plus town hall of Budapest District I seventy years long. Monument plaque (install. 2017) inscription: ~Former Buda Town Hall was built at the beginning of the 18th century on the remains of several medieval residences and trading houses. It was extended with storey in 1741-42, and its staircase dates from 1771-72. At the east corner a Plallas Athena statue by Carlo Adami (1785), replica by Antal Károly (1964) can be see /details:its base is stone, which is 90 cm high. Pallas Athena is in a sitting position, with the coat of arms of the city of Buda in her right hand and is a bronze spear. The statue is 150 cm high limestone./. Régi budai városháza. Háromhomlokzatos, emeletes barokk épület. Venerio Ceresola, Nepauer Mátyás, 1692-1774. Középkori részletek Főbejárata a Szentháromság utcából, egy másik az Úri utcából nyílik. A sarokerkélyek díszesen faragott kő konzolokra ülnek, az ablakok füzér- és virágdíszes kő parapettel, csúcsos illetve íves szemöldökkel. A keleti erkély lemeze alatt oroszlánfej, a nyugati parapetjén Buda címere. A keleti sarkon Pallas Athene kő szobra (Avatás 1964, Avatás 1785, Carlo Adami, Antal Károly) Eredetileg a budai Városháza előtti kutat díszítette. 1928-tól az egykori budai Városháza a sarkán állott, ahova 1964-ben a szobor másolata került. A megrongálódott eredeti művet restaurálás után Budapest Főváros Önkormányzata épületének (V. kerület, Városház utca 9-11) kapualjában állíttatták fel 1966-ban[1]. A Tárnok utca nyeregtetején huszártorony ül. 'Budapest100 2022' rendezvény egyik zárt, kutatott háza. Műemléki tábla (2017) felirata: 'Az egykori budai városháza több középkori lakó és kereskedőház maradványain a 18. sz. elején épült. 1741-42-ben emeletessé bővítették, lépcsőháza 1771-72-ből származik.' Műemléki azonosító: 140, törzsszám: 15852. Budapest műemléki jelentőségű területe az ún. Világörökség része.
