Summary

Description
English:
The former Mór Weisz 'tenement palace' was built on the plot of chief servant judge Elek Seiler, later here was the headquarters of the General Savings Bank of Békés County. In/till? 2023 a K&H Bank branch is/was here. In Oradea, built a two-storey headquarters of the Central Savings Bank Co. planned by Kálmán Rimanóczy Jr. Based on photographs and postcards of this bank building in Oradea, András Bányai, master builder from Békéscsaba, built the 'tenement palace' in 1909 with a façade almost identical to Oradea. Note: as a result of the reconstructions carried out on the two buildings since construction, the similarity between them is less than it was originally. In 1918, the General Savings Bank of Békés County converted the ground floor into a bank room according to the plans of architect Béla Rerrich. - 5 Szent István Square, Békéscsaba, Békés County, Hungary.
