Description
English:
Békéscsaba Bartók Béla Art High School and Basic Art School (former City Music School, later Békéscsabai Bartók Béla Art Secondary School and Basic Art School). 1st floor part built to Ignác Szamek chief physician of the Hungarian Railways, Chairman of the (malbis arumim) ~Israelite Societyfor the Endowment of Poor Children. In 1927 the building extended with a storey. On the 2nd floor was the doctors' office, on the groundfloor was rentable. Here was Sándorné Nyilas Ida Kiss's English and French women's fashion room, editorial office of the Békéscounty Gazette... The Music School moved in 1948. Later a modern concert hall with a capacity of 300 people was built for the school. Local grade listed - 4 Szabadság (Liberty) Square, Downtown, Békéscsaba, Békés County, Hungary.

Békéscsabai Bartók Béla Művészeti Szakgimnázium és Alapfokú Művészeti Iskola. OM azonosító szám: 028409 Székhelyintézmény. 2023-ban hat aktív telephelye volt. - dr. Szamek Ignác orvosnak épült 1894-ben földszintes épület. 1927-ben történt az emeletráépítés. Emeleten volt a rendelő a földszintet bárbe adta. Itt volt Nyilas Sándorné Kiss Ida angol és francia női divatterme, a Békésmegyei Közlöny szerkesztősége. dr. Szamek Ignác MÁV-főorvos volt az izraelita szegény gyermekeket felruházó egylet (malbis arumim) elnöke is. 1948-ban költözött be a Városi Zeneiskola, később Békéscsabai Bartók Béla Művészeti Szakközépiskola és Alapfokú Művészeti Iskola. Az iskolának modern, 300 személyt befogadó hangversenyterme épült.
