Description
English: Syracuse Savings Bank - Block 88 - 1890 - The light-colored wedge in front of the main entrance is a set of steps to a raised platform which allowed pedestrians to walk over the raised bridge whenever canal boats were passing underneath. Carriages and trolleys, unfortunately, had to wait until the bridge was lowered again
