| Description |
Cymraeg: Synagog Llandudno
English: Chabad retreat centre, 28 Church Walks, Llandudno, Wales, seen from the west. There has been a Jewish congregation in Llandudno since 1905 and this house has been its synagogue since 1948. Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Hebrew Congregation is now too small to maintain a minyan (i.e. ten adult men needed to be present for an orthodox religious service). The building is now maintained with the help of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, which uses the building as a retreat centre. |
