Summary
[edit]DescriptionSybil Brecon Mountain Railway.jpg |
English: At Pontsticill there is a little steam museum, and with it the BMR's first operational locomotive - Sybil.
Originally a quarry engine for the Pen-Yr-Orsedd Slate Quarry, near Caernarfon, she was built in 1903. Sybil can only pull one carriage so is unsuitable for BMR use, and hasn't been used since 1981. However she was restored in 2012 and is operational. |
