日本語: 仏舎利の代替品である「舎利石」（しゃりいし）と呼ばれる石英質（SiO2）の水摩礫（すいまれき）。　舎利石は釈迦の遺骨の代替え品として主に青森県東津軽郡今別町大字袰月字舎利浜（袰月海雲洞釈迦堂周辺の集落）およびその付近で採れる。（ノートに補足あり）
